Today is the day that I’m gonna start working out in long sleeves and walk around my house with a jacket or whatever to cover my arms to see the progress I make in two weeks. I heard that the results could be shocking if I put the time in the gym so I’m looking forward to what I see at the end of this challenge
I’m still kinda surprised after finding out last week during my physical fitness test at csuf that I’m 150lbs with around 5% body fat. No, I’m not a twig even though you might think I am, but now it makes sense why I’m so vascular, which I hate. Going to the gym 5 days/week has definitely worked out for me, but I guess having a great metabolism helps too. As long as you have the drive to reach for the body you’ve always wanted, it’s without a doubt possible.
Went into the gym today determined to do one muscle up. After literally 2 hours of attempting and failing, I left in disappointment. I know sooner rather than later I’ll be able to do one because I’m driven to do so. I’m even trying for one tomorrow cause I know I can do it, just takes practice.
People like in the nike jogger video inspire and motivate me to become a healthier and stronger individual. If they can do it, why can’t I? It’s the idea of mind over matter and the mental toughness to work beyond the pain that creates such a person. I’m stoked that there are people out there who have the determination and drive to make themselves better
